Brief History:
Otto Günsche (1917-2003) was a member of the Waffen-SS and served as Adolf Hitler's personal aide and SS adjutant during World War II. Present in the Führerbunker during the final days of Hitler's life, Günsche was one of the last people to see the Führer alive. Tasked with the responsibility of burning Hitler's body after his suicide, Günsche played a significant role in the last moments of the Third Reich. Following the war, he spent over a decade in Soviet captivity before being released in 1956. Günsche later authored a memoir about his time with Hitler, titled "Zu Gast beim Führer" (At the Führer's Side), published in 2003.
