The knife is made of 800 silver and is decorated with Art Nouveau design.  The knife also bears the initials "EB," which  stand for Eva Braun.

History of Bruckman & Söhne:

Bruckman & Söhne was founded in 1862 by Carl Bruckman and his son, Wilhelm. The company was located in Pforzheim, Germany, which was a major center for the silver industry. Bruckman & Söhne produced a wide variety of silverware, including tableware, flatware, and jewelry. The company was also known for its high-quality craftsmanship and its use of innovative design techniques.

In 1933, Bruckman & Söhne was commissioned by the Nazi Party to produce silverware for the Reich Chancellery. The company produced a wide variety of silverware for the Chancellery, including tableware, flatware, and serving pieces. The silverware was made of high-quality silver and was decorated with Nazi symbols.

After the war, Bruckman & Söhne continued to produce silverware. However, the company never regained its pre-war prominence. The company eventually closed its doors in 1970.
