WWII German Youth armband from the estate of American actress and singer Dorothy Lamour (1914-1996), a popular pin-up girl with American GIs during WWII. The armband has remnants of the RZM tag on the inside, illegible. Purportedly given to Lamour by Pvt. Harold A. Reynolds, 754 Field Artillery Bn. Includes provenance letters from Donna Matsook, the Executrix to the Estate of Dorothy Lamour, '...I surmise all of these items are from the war and a US soldier captured these things and gave them to Dorothy. Dorothy said someone did give it to her, but she couldn't remember the details. I can't blame her....' 4.25 x 8 inches. According to Ms. Matsook, Dorothy was given three items: this Youth armband.
